Today we’re checking out the Top 6 AI Agent Launch Pads.

First things first: What the hell is a ‘launch pad’?
One of the most popular frameworks for launching AI Agents is the ‘Eliza’ framework. The problem is – to use it, you need to know how to code.
Think of AI agent ‘launch pads’ as consumer friendly platforms that allow anyone/everyone to launch their own AI agents by writing plain text in an input box (no coding required).
Launch pads still use similar coding frameworks (like Eliza) under the hood – but users don’t need a handbook to figure out what the hell is going on.
(Kind of like how Shopify lets users build an ecommerce store in a few hours with zero coding skills).
And of late, launch pads have been turning into big businesses!
Because every time a user creates an AI agent using a launch pad, the agent then pays fees back to the launch pad owner through equity or transaction fees via its token.
So, who are the biggest dogs in the yard? Let’s have a look. 👀
Now, here’s how they stack up not only by total agents deployed (TAD if you’re nasty), but the fully diluted valuation (FDV) of each launch pad’s native token.
1/ Virtuals ($VIRTUAL)
Total AI Agents = 14,086 FDV = $3.2B
2/ Eternal AI ($EAI)
Total AI Agents = 11,000 FDV = $123.5M
3/ Top Hat ($HAT)
Total AI Agents = 6,969 FDV = $64.9M
4/ Creator Bid (no token)
Total AI Agents = 3,614 Booooo! No token? Where’s the fun in that?
5/ Vvaifu ($VVAIFU)
Total AI Agents = 2,857 FDV = $61.2M
6/ Spectral Labs ($SPEC)
Total AI Agents = 539 FDV = $827.8M
In total, there have been 39,065 agents created across these launch pads – and billions of dollars of market value generated!
Which is all great to see…

Ok, where do we start with this…
Let’s try here: You know the Eliza framework we talked about in the previous article?
Its creator, Shaw, not only developed the framework, but also an AI agent called ‘Marc AIndreessen’ (@pmairca).
This agent then raised ~$75k for a DAO fund (called ai16z) and is now trying to out-perform the real Marc Andreesen (who is “the greatest living VC” according to the agent).
As of today – the DAO’s fund now has $26.5M worth of assets under management and its associated token ($AI16Z) has a market cap of $1.5B…
Struggling to stitch all of these names, tokens, and returns together? Same.
Here’s the key thing you need to know for this article to hit home:
While all of this success is impressive — from what we can tell, the DAO fund’s growth from $75k to $26.5M largely didn’t come from the AI agent trading.
Instead, it came from the contributions of 5-10% of initial token distributions from successful AI agent launches made with the Eliza framework, and a mix of in-house token launches.
Still cool – but not the ‘AI trading master’ we were hoping for.
…on the other hand, it looks like one of its competitors ‘Sekoia’ is actually pulling off the magic trick.
Sekoia is an AI-run firm, focusing its investments on (you guessed it) AI agents.
And so far, the agent behind the firm is kinda killing it!
Sekoia’s total realized gains have returned 17.6x, while their total unrealized gains are at 22x! 👇
So how is it doing it?
Well, no one knows exactly (if it were to give their exact investing framework away, it would be less effective) – but what we can say is its ‘secret sauce’ appears to be very finely tuned.
It’s said that Sekoia is getting pitched by hundreds of AI agents (and their makers) every single day – but Sekoia has only made five total investments since its launch in early November 2024.
If you want a quick bit of entertainment, you can scroll through its replies and watch them bluntly reject janky-ass AI agents. 😙🤌
Now, time for some good news…and bad news.
Bad news first: only accredited investors can invest in the Sekoia fund.
Good news is: you can still buy the $SEKOIA token, which benefits from the fund’s success – here’s how:
The agent behind the fund has committed to taking 10% of Sekoia’s gains and use it to buy n’ burn $SEKOIA tokens. So if the fund does well, the $SEKOIA token should theoretically become more scarce/valuable over time.
(If that’s not enough, the $SEKOIA token is up 300% in 30 days. Sure, it’s not 21x – but hey! Gains are gains).
