🧠 VIBECHECK
What a week. Just days ago, it felt like memes were about to break out: $PENGU, $REKT, and $ZORA were ripping, and $SPX6900 even smashed through $2B to $2.2B. Then midweek hit, and everything cooled fast, with most memes retracing 20-50%.
I’m still bullish. Great memes always need multiple pullbacks to break higher. Plus, the PumpFun sale fizzled - no liquidity drain, just a market holding its breath for drama that never came. Now $PUMP is frozen around $1B.
On Wednesday, I dropped three memes to accumulate in the Degen PRO Signals channel, all with wide chop ranges I expect we’ll revisit for weeks. If you want to make it in degen land, you’ve gotta believe another pump’s coming.
📚 WEEKLY RESEARCH
1/ $DKING signal call
I took a position sub-$10M on the dip and made this the second-ever call in the Degen PRO Signals channel. Here’s the TLDR: $DKING (soon to be $SIRE) is an AI-powered sports betting agent on Base with $300M AUM, rebranding in August and launching vaults that will use profits for token buybacks.
- Entry: $8.5M–$11.5M (be patient, it’s been a falling knife)
- Catalysts: Migration on Aug 7 + major push late August as soccer season kicks off
2/ Launchpad wars
Pump is no longer king. LetsBonk now leads in traders and fees, while Jupiter ($2B Solana DEX) is rapidly catching up as fresh memes launch. The big takeaway? Each platform will prop up its leading memecoins to claim dominance; a thesis I’m leaning into.
- Took positions in $URANUS (Jupiter) and $USELESS (LetsBonk)
- Still debating $STARTUP and whether $FARTCOIN can recover from its mega dump
3/ Capital allocation: TimeFun
I’ve put some money here but I'm uncertain how it will pan out. TimeFun is a marketplace where you buy tokenized “minutes” from influencers, redeemable for DMs, calls, streams, etc.
- Big names onboard: Ansem (quietly), Zeneca, and other top creators.
- Integration: With GlympseFun, a Fantasy Top-style game that burns minutes to compete in influencer fantasy.
- Backers: Fully supported by Solana, and they just teased a mobile app.
Why I like it: Nobody’s paying attention yet, but many top-30 influencers have tokens that trade at sub-$20K market cap. I’ve scooped a few ($50-$100 into each). - $MAMO: Adding to my position on this huge dip here. I think this bad boy gets listed like BNKR and pops off (which will be my exit). Hoping for a 2-3x on this purchase.
- $FAKETAXI: Can’t believe I convinced myself to do this - but I liquidated all my small Zora creator launch buys and put them all into this token. I’ve been talking to the “founder” and he is the son of porn site founder Jonathan Todd, who started Fake Taxi and YouPorn. Please I beg you - if you don’t know what those are, don’t look them up. I allocated a tiny amount here, more so for entertainment value.
