WILL FARTCOIN JOIN THE BIG LEAGUES? (P1)
NOTE: This is usually where we share 3 tokens of the week. But today, we’re zooming in on the cycle’s most absurd (and impressive) memecoin run: $FARTCOIN.

But there’s this one guy who only ever shows up to talk about $FARTCOIN.

And you know what? I respect it.
Despite my penchant for low cap jokes, Fartcoin is definitely worth our attention here at Milk Road Degen - it has become the unignorable leader of the current meme cycle.
Heck, I even called it during the WW3 dip, and it has bounced almost 50% since!
And if you zoom out on that chart, you’ll see that our Discord friend is right - $FARTCOIN is nowhere near its all-time high!
Earlier this year it hit $2.6B, before the $TRUMP token crashed the market.
Yet today, it has surged back above $1B, while many 2024 memes rot away.
So here’s the question:
Is Fartcoin here to stay?
Can it hit another 2–3x from here?
If BTC breaks to $150K, will Fartcoin rip one straight to $5B?

So, what is Fartcoin?
Fartcoin is exactly what it sounds like - a coin that breaks wind, not banks.
It launched in October 2024 on Solana, with a fully irreverent memetic mission. But it wasn’t cooked up by degens in a basement. It was actually proposed by the most infamous AI agent of all, Truth Terminal, during a bizarre conversation with another AI.
Yeah. An AI literally farted this idea into existence.
Truth Terminal’s founder, Andy Ayrey, turned that spark into something real. The agent went on to tweet, shill, and philosophize about the gospel of farts, a meme religion of sorts. And somehow, it worked.
You can hate it. You can ignore it. But you can’t deny that it’s committed.

Fartcoin vs. SPX6900
If Fartcoin is the poop joke everyone’s embarrassed to laugh at, SPX6900 is the suit-and-tie meme that wants to flip the S&P 500.
Both peaked on Jan 21, 2025. Both saw a spring resurgence. Both are beloved by their respective cults, and a product of this most recent bull run.
SPX has Murad as its messiah. The man genuinely believes it’s going to $10B. He talks about it constantly.
Fartcoin has BonkGuy, a hype whisperer with a near-perfect track record across Bonk, Useless, and others.
Here’s how they stack up:
- Sentiment: SPX has 96% positive rating on CookieFun; Fartcoin has 80%
- Buyers/Volume: Fartcoin smashes SPX with 45k buyers, $1.4B volume vs. SPX’s 10k buyers and $150M volume (despite being on 3 chains)
- Memetic strength: Fartcoin’s deeper, weirder brand probably gives it more mainstream potential than SPX’s finance-flip narrative
So which one wins? No clue. But they could both break $2B and still have room to run. And the volume tells a pretty good story IMO.
What about the other “big” memes?
I was really hoping to find some valuable insight here. So many other 2024 tokens have hit the $1B mark and vanished…yet they all had strong fundamentals for a Fart-sized run.
Here's the graveyard:
- $PNUT - $1.8B ATH, now $287M. Fastest to $1B ever (13 days). RIP.
- $MOG - $1.5B ATH, now $657M. Meme cabal, mostly vanished.
- $POPCAT - $1.93B ATH, now $366M. Had a shot, fizzled out.
- $GOAT - $1.21B ATH, now $145M. The OG AI meme. Down bad.
The only correlation is that they peaked in Q4 2024 and never made a real comeback - which makes Fartcoin’s rebound even more impressive.
Can Fartcoin ever top the meme chart?
Let’s talk about the top 3.
$DOGE is king. $SHIB is queen. Dog coins with retail adoption that have survived multiple cycles. They will never die.
$PEPE only just launched in April 2023, and in my mind should be #1. But the issue is that Pepe The Frog dates back even further than crypto, whereas DOGE and SHIB are crypto natives.
So can Fartcoin join these, or at least flip PEPE? Can it hit $5B or more, and survive through to the next cycle (assuming cycles still exist)?
It’s not a dog. It’s not OG internet lore. But it is new, viral, funny, and weird enough to maybe make it. Plus, as Bonk Guy pointed out, Fartcoin often leads volume over all of these. So there’s definitely an interest.
It just needs noise. And staying power.
Technical analysis
Enough hype talk. Lets look at some charts!!
What we can see here:
- Volume has cooled, but it’s still leading daily + weekly volume across Solana
- Support: $1B (psychological), then $870M-$920M (WW3 lows)
- Resistance: $1.5B is the local top…if it breaks past that with volume, it could teleport back to its all-time high.
This thing needs a real breakout swing here. And if it's lucky enough, maybe it will be included in the memes mentioned below.
Final prediction
The truth is… I’ve never owned Fartcoin. I avoided it for months. It was too stupid.
But memes are irrational. And $DOGE still has a bigger market cap than most major companies, so who am I to judge its potential.
Can Fartcoin hit $2.6B again? Absolutely.
Can it survive another bear market? No idea. But the fact that we’re even asking tells you it’s one of the top memecoins in the game.
Watch this one closely.
