3 TOKENS THAT COULD PUMP IN UPTOBER 💰
Listen degen bros (and bras),
Uptober has been anything but up only. It feels like we’ve lived an entire cycle in just two weeks - especially the bear part, which lasted about 48 hours.
I’ve gotten rinsed. Many people have.
Alts and degen tokens are down bad (except $USELESS), and it feels like everyone’s trying to time the top (if it ever comes).
Hunting for the next runner almost feels comical right now. Do we even have dry powder left? Can new runners actually go anywhere in these conditions?
Normally, I drop my “3 Tokens to Watch” piece on Mondays, but I needed a few extra days to see how the market would behave.
And today… it actually looks kind of good?
So let’s put the degen hat back on and check out three tokens that could pump through the rest of the month.
$STBL - The bottom is coming
I first wrote about this token on September 22nd, back when the perp DEX meta was heating up and $ASTER was still below $1 (RIP my degen radar - I didn’t buy). I’ve mentioned it three more times since, and last week I even had an entry order set at $0.20 if it dipped.
And dip it did.
Problem is, it kept dipping, going all the way to $0.10. Luckily, I cut my loss at around 30% on my $0.20 entry. But here’s the thing: this one might have finally bottomed.
It’s a new project from Tether co-founder Reeve Collins and its suffering through an unlock tsunami right now ($30M due this week); but after that, the coast may be clear for it to rip.
Why I’m bullish
- Their $USST stablecoin (the flagship product) finally started minting.
- They partnered with Ondo Finance, which minted $50M in $USST.
- Buybacks launch at the end of the month, funded by $USST.
- And naturally, it's seeing some decent inflows.
How to trade
Be patient. Those $30M of unlocks could push this thing down further, and the chart could retest or even dip below $0.10. But I doubt Reeve launched this in Q3 of a bull market just to let it die below a $100M FDV though.

3 TOKENS THAT COULD PUMP IN UPTOBER (P2)💰
$STRPNK - The big multiplier bet
I faded Punk Strategy hard last month - and now it feels like everyone else has too. The hype died, but the fundamentals didn’t.
The core concept still slaps: a token that accumulates and flips Punks, then buys back and burns itself. The parent company, Token Works, continues to roll out new NFT collection strategies, and while the pace has slowed, the infrastructure is still expanding. Right now, $PNKSTR sits around a $100M cap, down 60% from ATH and waiting for a spark - or a broader NFT revival.
A good beta play for this is $STRPNK, which is a deflationary strategy token in the NFT Strategy ecosystem that burns its own supply based on the trading activity of its derivative token, $PNKSTR.
The protocol collects a 10% fee on each $STRPNK trade, which is then split 80% to the Treasury and 20% to the dev team. When the Treasury accumulates enough $ETH, it opens $PNKSTR positions, targeting a 30% gain before closing them. Profits from closed positions are used to buy and burn $STRPNK, directly linking $PNKSTR trading volume to $STRPNK scarcity.
Why I’m bullish
It’s simple: if $PNKSTR pumps again, this one probably moves harder. Even a 3x on $PNKSTR could translate into a 5-10x move on $STRPNK given its low $1.5M cap.
That’s the degen way of seeing life.

Feels like a good entry zone. The meta has cooled, the ecosystem looks bottomed, and we’ve probably got a few weeks before it wakes back up.

$VPAY - The crypto card play
This one’s sneaky. $VPAY just launched its v1.1 update despite existing since August and thus, it has mooned in the last few days. It’s a crypto credit card that can access the Visa network and allows users to pay in $VPAY or $VIRTUALS (ambitious). There is also a physical card coming soon.
I’ll add a bit of caution here: although this all sounds bullish, I just got burned on $CYPR last week (a similar concept), so I’m treading lightly.
Why I’m bullish:
- It’s a real product solving a real friction point: spending your bags IRL.
- Base loves this kind of stuff and could heavily promote it.
- There may be a “neo bank” narrative forming, and this would fit into it:
How to trade
It mooned yesterday then dumped hard (typical!), so I’d be careful not to top-blast it. This feels like a “watch closely, don’t buy yet” kind of setup.

Wrapping up
Let’s be real - Uptober’s been messy. Everything pumps, then dumps, then pumps again.
But let’s not be too despondent. Our team is still bullish. On Monday, we broke down the liquidation in this special podcast episode and everyone agreed we’d see $ETH hit an ATH by the end of the year.
We’re so sure about this… that in true degen style we’re willing to bet on it.
