Milk Road Inc. Bitcoin ETF Price Prediction Contest Rules

  1. Sponsor: The sponsor of this contest is Milk Road Inc. (“Sponsor”).
  2. Eligibility: This contest is open only to active subscribers of the Milk Road newsletter at the time of entry. Employees of Milk Road Inc., its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, (collectively the “Employees”), and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of Employees are not eligible to participate in the contest.
  3. Contest Period: The contest begins at 9:30 AM Pacific Time (“PT”) on January 09, 2024 and ends at 9:30 AM PT on January 10, 2024. Entries submitted before or after the Contest Period will not be eligible.
  4. How to Enter: Eligible participants must submit their guess for the closing price of Bitcoin on the first trading day of a Bitcoin spot ETF in the United States. The primary ETF to be considered for this contest is the BlackRock Bitcoin spot ETF. In the event that the BlackRock Bitcoin spot ETF is not approved by the contest date, the contest will instead be based on the Bitcoin spot ETF with the largest assets under management (AUM) that is approved in the United States. Entries must be submitted through the method specified by Milk Road Inc. before the closing of the contest period.
  5. Prizes:
    • First Prize: $250 for the closest prediction. Second Prize: $150 for the second closest prediction. Third Prize: $100 for the third closest prediction.
    In the event of a tie, where multiple participants have equally close predictions, the prize will be equally divided among the tied participants. For example, if two participants tie for the First Prize, each will receive $125. If a winner has referred an active newsletter subscriber during the contest period, their prize will be doubled (e.g., First prize will become $500 instead of $250, or in the case of a tie with one referral, each tied participant would receive $250).
  6. Winner Selection and Notification: Winners will be selected based on the closest predictions to the actual closing price of Bitcoin as determined by Milk Road Inc. Winners will be notified via email within five (5) business days following selection. Milk Road Inc. shall have no liability for a winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings or for winners’ provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information.
  7. Prize Conditions: All prize amounts are stated in U.S. dollars. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except at Milk Road Inc.’s discretion. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the winners.
  8. General Conditions: In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the contest is impaired in any way, Milk Road Inc. may, in its sole discretion, either: (a) suspend the contest to address the impairment and then resume the contest; or (b) award the prizes from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment.
  9. Release and Limitations of Liability: By participating in the contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Milk Road Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the contest or receipt or use of any prize.
  10. Disputes: This contest is governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Texas, without respect to conflict of law doctrines. As a condition of participating in this contest, participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this contest, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.
  11. Privacy: Information submitted with an entry is subject to the Privacy Policy stated on the Milk Road Inc. website.
