Cardano Co-Founder: Vote for Biden Is a Vote for Death of US Crypto Industry

Cardano co-founder Charles Hoskinson has put out a tweet in response to Vitalik Buterin’s thoughts on pro-crypto candidates.
Hoskinson’s view was quite opposite to that of Vitalik, who released a blog post against choosing your political allegiances based on who is pro-crypto.
Key points:
- Vitalik Buterin released a blog post against choosing pro-crypto political leaders.
- Vitalik stated why investors shouldn’t be enthusiastic about the crypto stance of politicians.
- Cardano co-founder Charles Hoskinson replied to Vitalik, disagreeing with this view.
- Hoskinson said voting for Biden is a vote for the death of the American crypto industry.
In his latest tweet, Hoskinson argued that his first goal has always been to keep the government out of crypto completely.
Hoskinson stated that in the places where that’s not possible, there is only one clear choice. He added that if they want a CBDC, sue non-custodial wallets, jail crypto leaders and call everyone a security, the only option is not to vote for them.

Hoskinson says voting for Biden can kill crypto industry in the US
The Cardano co-founder highlighted that politics is a game of cause and effect. Once politicians understand that harassing the industry leads to lost elections, they suddenly stop doing that.
His concluding words in the tweet were that a vote for Biden could lead to the death of the crypto industry in the United States.
Hoskinson also asked to vote for pro crypto candidates, which is a complete disagreement and a point of view different from that of Vitalik.
The argument all stems from Donald Trump’s evolution of his crypto stance. From an anti-crypto stance, Trump has transformed into a pro-crypto candidate.
The former president also addressed the fact that he would stand for the crypto industry and also began accepting donations in crypto.
