Ethereum ICO Participant Moves 48,500 ETH To OKX

An Ethereum ICO participant has begun to move their ETH stash. According to on-chain data shared by EmberCN, the whale participated in the Ethereum ICO in 2015.

During the ICO, the whale received 1 million ETH, which was priced at $0.311 per coin.

The whale moved 48,500 ETH worth $154 million to OKX in the past month. Initially, 64,100 ETH was moved from the 0x7d6…1B4 address to another address. The funds were then moved to OKX in batches through 0xe17…Ab7 address.

Ethereum whale still holds over 680,000 ETH

According to the details from EmberCN, the whale address still holds 682,000 ETH. 345,000 ETH has been staked, 287,000 ETH is held in 0x7d6…1B4 address, and 50,000 ETH were pledged through another address.

The report of the whale comes amidst the recent price recovery of Ethereum after last week’s slump. ETH is up by 10% in the last seven days, according to the latest data.

Interestingly, Ethereum gas fees dropped to a five-year low, according to Etherscan data. X user DarrenSRS posted an image of the 1 gwei gas on the Ethereum mainnet. 1 gwei gas is the lowest fee since mid-2019 and also considerably lower in comparison to over 83 gwei in March.
