GM. This is Milk Road Stocks, the newsletter that makes big money moves feel simple.
Today we’re breaking down 4 big-name portfolios and showing you how you can use them to find new ideas, validate your own holdings, and make better decisions…

WHAT BUFFETT, PELOSI AND NVIDIA ACTUALLY OWN 👀
Every quarter, the biggest investors in the market have to show their hand. Most people never look, because the filings read like a tax return.
So we did the reading for you.
Below are four Insider Portfolios from the new Milk Road site: an old-school legend, a Silicon Valley tech investor, a politician and the world's biggest chipmaker.
One catch… most of this data comes from quarterly filings that show holdings as of June 30 - so where an insider has made a public move since, we've noted it.
1. Warren Buffett (Berkshire Hathaway): American brands, heavily concentrated

Half of Berkshire's $299B portfolio sits in three stocks:
- Apple (22.0%).
- American Express (17.1%).
- Coca-Cola (10.9%).
The big move in Q2 was Alphabet.
Berkshire added about 24.5M Alphabet Class A shares (+45%) and grew its Alphabet Class C stake (+658%) more than sevenfold.
Count both share classes and Alphabet is now 12.6% of the portfolio, more than Coca-Cola.
It also added to Delta (+44%) and trimmed Bank of America (-5.9%), with the deepest cuts hitting Capital One (-58%) and Nucor (-52.5%).
Since the filing: Berkshire has been buying more Lennar (the homebuilder) picking up about 660K shares in late September alone.
The company famous for avoiding tech now owns more Google than Coke.
2. Brad Gerstner (Altimeter Capital): all in on AI chips

Brad Gerstner runs Altimeter Capital, and his $9.83B portfolio is a bet that AI spending keeps flowing to the companies that make the chips.
Two AI chipmakers make up 35.4% of it: Nvidia (19.2%) and Cerebras (16.2%).
Cerebras is the newcomer. The AI chipmaker only went public in May, and Gerstner’s filing shows he added 7.23M shares in Q2, enough to make it his second-largest holding straight away.
He kept building around chips too - his new Q2 positions included:
- Qualcomm.
- Micron.
- Applied Materials.
- KLA.
- Lam Research.
He also picked up a stake in SpaceX.
The biggest trim was Meta (-30.6%), though it's still his third-largest position at 7.8%.
Since the filing: Gerstner has reportedly sold his entire CoreWeave stake, saying AI had run ahead of itself and was due for a period of consolidation.
CoreWeave then fell 25% in a single week this month on worries about its roughly $50B of debt.
3. Nancy Pelosi: big tech in equal slices

Pelosi's estimated $155M stock portfolio holds 25 names, with her top eight making up 86.1% - and every one of them sitting between 9% and 12.3%:
- Apple (12.3%).
- Nvidia (11.3%).
- Visa (11.3%).
- Amazon (11.2%).
- Alphabet (11.0%).
- Microsoft (10.8%).
- Broadcom (9.2%).
- Salesforce (9.2%).
The other 17 positions share the remaining 13.9%, and twelve of them are under 1% each.
Where Gerstner is leaning hard into AI chips, Pelosi owns most of big tech in roughly equal pieces.
Her latest moves: in late July she bought more Bloom Energy in shares and call options, plus 10,000 Intel shares.
Btw… you should probably take a peek at Nancy’s portfolio while you can - she isn't running again, so her disclosures will stop when she leaves Congress in January.
4. Nvidia: two bets = 80% of the portfolio

Yes, Nvidia has a stock portfolio too, and it's worth $63.4B.
Two names make up 80.3% of it: Intel (47.3%) and SpaceX (33.1%).
The SpaceX stake is brand new - Nvidia announced a 123M-share position in Q2, and it went straight in as the second-largest holding.
The rest is a short list of AI supply-chain names:
- CoreWeave (7.4%).
- Coherent (4.8%).
- Nokia (3.5%).
- Synopsys (3.4%).
- Nebius (0.5%).
Every other position was left untouched.
Where they overlap
These are four very different investors, yet the same names keep showing up:
- Apple is the #1 holding for both Buffett and Pelosi.
- Alphabet is a top-five position for both of them too.
- Nvidia is Gerstner's #1 holding and Pelosi's #2.
- SpaceX was a new position in Q2 for both Nvidia and Gerstner.
- Intel is Nvidia's biggest holding, and Pelosi bought 10,000 shares in July.
Point being: several insiders from completely different corners of the market owning the same stock may be worth closer investigation.
