Avantis launched its token this summer and quickly became a Base favorite during the perp DEX gold rush. It peaked at $2.60, now chilling around $0.60. Thatās an 85% markdown.
Why it could pump (again!)
- Base meta still strong. Coinbase clearly wants its L2 ecosystem to shine, and Avantis is one of the few projects worthy of that spotlight.
- Buybacks are coming. Although tbh, I think they are being a bit cheap about it. They promised buybacks once they averaged $200k/day in revenue, when they would spend 30% of that on token buybacks. Yet they can barely crack $100k/day right now. Once the platform picks up a bit more, ideally they cross that threshold and start the buybacks - or just toss money out of the window and spend all their rev on it.

$TIBBIR - The secret VC frog
This oneās less ābottomed outā and more āquiet before the stormā.
$TIBBIR is a mysterious meme on Base and Virtuals - āRibbitā spelled backwards - and itās rumored to be linked to Ribbit Capital, the VC firm led by Micky Malka.
People have been following the breadcrumbs ever since the project launched, connecting the not-so-secret dots. Plus, Micky recently went on Real Vision with Raoul Pal to discuss āthe new internet of moneyā, and responded with āI have no ideaā when asked about it by Raoul (who is clearly in on it).

- Big green candle yesterday (+20%) before the afternoon pullback.
- The official account wiped all tweets and cleared its bio. Somethingās cooking.
- They own a CryptoPunk and airdropped soulbound NFTs to holders earlier this year.
