4 TOKEN AIRDROPS THAT ARE GONNA HIT LIKE CRACK š°

Weāve been hearing the same thing for months - āQ4 is airdrop seasonā.
The theory goes: markets are bullish (sort of), teams are eager, and everyone wants to launch into green candles. Nothing worse than a TGE that's a few months too late.
But looking at prediction markets? The data says otherwise. Only a handful of big names are expected to actually drop this quarter.
But things change quickly.
And despite market conditions, a few teams are on track to drop their tokens, with a few more providing long-awaited updates.
And yes, they are in order of my own personal bullishness.
Meteora - The Solana infra beast
Key details
- TGE: October 23, 2025
- Ticker: $MET (pre-market is open on Hyperliquid)
- Projected FDV: Roughly $1B
Meteora is a DIY liquidity platform that has helped many traders learn a passive method for making money on memecoins. Although it wasnāt always easy, sharp traders could easily earn 20-100% in a single day on high-volume Solana tickers.
Last week, Meteora opened up their token checker, along with an option to add the airdrop allocation to the liquidity of the actual token (limited to 100M tokens). I pledged my tokens to this, as I think it will be lucrative early on.
Why Iām bullish
- Price will be relatively stable, with 47% of supply going live on the first day.
- Theyāre honoring old Mercurial users (what Meteora was before), in a very classy move.
- Polymarket gives just 36% odds of $1B FDV one day post-launch (it was higher before Fridayās market lows) - which would put it in the top 10 on Solana. Thatās a big deal!
I think Meteora has a bright future, and will see tons of short-term chop as many dump their 5-figure airdrops. Long term good hold if bullish conditions persist.
MegaETH - The hottest L2 of 2025 (or is it 2026?)

These guys surprised everyone last week by announcing a token sale on Cobieās Echo platform, with registrations open for almost two weeks. This will be their third raise and the only one that is truly public.
Rumor is that holders of The Fluffle soulbound NFTs and Bad Bunnz NFTs will also be receiving allocation, and both should be first in line to the token sale.
The presale is a clear signal to the market that TGE is imminent: Polymarket has it at 60% chance of an airdrop by 2025.
Why Iām bullish
- First chain to hire a KOL as ambassador: Bread is very sharp.
- MegaETH Mafia cohorts (their incubator program) have been bangers; lots of great projects like Euphoria and Noise.
- And most importantly: they announced an investor buyback, which was apparently because the fund that bought it was going out of business. This is bullish imo.
It is very hard to predict the FDV of an L2 at this point, but this one has a massive R/R if done right. It could be one of those āaccumulate in the bearā situations if the market continues downwards.

Monad - The biggest mindshare token

- Farming: Sign up for the claim window (farming is done)
Monad (which is its own L1) and MegaETH will be going head-to-head in the near term, competing for both users and TVL. These are the final two big chain launches of this cycle.
No details are available on tokenomics for Monad - however, they did run a nice marketing campaign last week with their āClaim Checkerā, that encouraged traders to share their airdrop qualification tier on X. Over 225k wallets are eligible for the airdrop, and the claim is open for 10 days.
Why Iām neutral (not bullish nor bearish)
- They are distributing the token to a broad range of communities: Farcaster users, NFT holders, Solana traders, Hyperliquid users, and Virtuals traders.
- Monadās Ethos ābullishā score jumped from 31% to 52% recently. But is it sentiment shift or airdrop copium? Probably both.
- Polymarket gives just a 26% chance of the actual airdrop by Nov 15, so timing could still drag.
My EVM wallets qualified, but my Phantom wallets didnāt (despite Pump activity). I donāt think Iāll be getting much on this one, and I still donāt quite understand their value prop.
OpenSea - Too little too late

- Projected FDV: Below $1B
- Farming: Complete the āChest Questsā for multiple seasons.
OpenSea wrapped up Season 1 of their Chest Quest campaign last week - just to then open up a new one.
These quests have really rubbed people the wrong way, as they required traders to pay incredibly high fees to upgrade their āchestā, which would in theory put them in line to earn a nice prize - but that campaign has underwhelmed thus far, as the farmers were clearly farmed.
And just last Friday, they announced that the token is coming in Q1 2026, in a long essay from CEO and Founder Devin Finzer. He claims 50% will go to the community, which should be bullish.
Why Iām bearish (sorry Opensea!)
- They will struggle to balance tokenomics: their investors are due a huge chunk of tokens (OpenSea raised $400M+), on top of traders from the 2021 NFT era. Plus now they have all these chest farmers to account for.
- They may have missed the mark. People begged them to drop the token all year, and who knows what the market will look like in 2026.
- Thereās no clear identity or value prop. Yes, you can trade tokens there now, but how will they compete with the dozens of similar apps? The closest comp for $SEA is $ME from Magic Eden (an NFT marketplace that features more chains than OpenSea), and their token sits at just $420M FDV (and a 74M market cap, ouch!).
Wrapping up
Iām sure there will be many more airdrops this quarter.
Letās hope the market bounces back so they can be well received and re-invested into our bags, rather than taken off the table.
