Welcome to the eighth edition of the Degen PRO Report.
The market feels different, degen.
Like we either just hit a full reset or we’re in the middle of one.
Which means I’m shifting gears - less chasing every shiny weekly meta, more zooming out and thinking in frameworks.
That said… I did something a little unhinged. I started scooping some memes. Yeah, I know, sounds insane right now - but I’ve got this weird gut feeling they’re about to heat up again. My list is down below.
Also dropped a portfolio update in Discord. A lot of them hit decision points this week and it was time to re-allocate. Sell losers, buy winners.

🧠 VIBECHECK
$WFLI ended up a big nothing burger - and a lot of low/mid caps got crushed in the crossfire. I flagged this risk in last Friday’s newsletter, though honestly, the dip hasn’t been as deep as I expected (still September though… so don’t count it out). What I am seeing is boredom. Bags are being held, timelines are quiet, and everyone’s just waiting for the bull to un-pause.
And that’s the funny part: there’s no dominant meta right now. We’ve had little flashes - tokenized Pokémon cards, prediction markets, “brand coins”, Zora, ICM, even Base Season over the summer. But nothing has really stuck. Feels like the market’s wandering.
Which, in my opinion, is the perfect setup for memes. The conditions are all there:
- $PUMP is back to ICO levels ($4B FDV+) after launching the new creator fee model.
- $SOL looks primed to rip on DATs - and its top memes could fly with it.
- Influencers are calling bottoms in the trenches, while the reality is that many active traders remain in the game.
You gotta believe in something right? I’m in on this until there’s a reason not to be.
📚 WEEKLY RESEARCH
$TROLL: The best meme under $1B
Yesterday I had the legend TylerD on the pod to jam about trading strategies and spotting new metas. We both landed on the same spicy take: meme season is overdue, and the bet nobody’s brave enough to make right now is $TROLL.
It’s one of the OG memes of the internet, and the team behind the token just dropped six figures to secure the actual IP from the creator. That’s not chump change - you don’t spend that unless you’ve got a plan to blow this thing up.
That convo starts around the 29 minute mark.
TimeFun: Has the moment arrived?
You already know I’ve been riding the TimeFun darkhorse narrative for a while. Lately though… I’m kinda torn. It’s a slick product, Solana’s backing it, but the “creator token” arena is getting crowded. Can they actually rise above the noise?
That being said, this has been a bullish week:
- The mobile app finally dropped (big deal for adoption).
- The Ansem token actually showed signs of life.
- Nairwolf (certified big brain) wrote a bullish breakdown on them. Although it felt a bit like a secret paid post? Hard to tell.
- And earlier this week, every major Solana account posted that mysterious pink square - which is 100% a TimeFun signal.
I’ve stacked some creators I like and think they’ll circle back once traction hits. But I’ll be real: if TimeFun can’t make a move during this mini Solana season, I might be out.
💼 DEGEN TRADES

- 🟢 $JUGS: Bought. Like I said earlier, I’m leaning into the idea of a mini meme season. The full shopping list is below, but I couldn’t resist tossing a little lunch money at JUGS while it’s still under $1M. That said… it’s been pretty flat, even with American Eagle pumping 30% on earnings. Not the pop I was hoping for, but worth the lotto ticket. This was not worthy of a signal; but a weird LG play.
- 🔴 $0xWives: Sold. This was always a small Zora side-bet, but honestly I think Zora’s cooked for now. I don’t see this whale deploying anything meaningful on the platform in the short term. I’ll revisit when Zora bottoms out and preps for a proper run. Maybe Q4.
