Listen up, degens.

This one’s by popular demand. One of the most common questions I’ve gotten lately is: what tokens should I buy to bet on the prediction market narrative?

Not how to use the platforms - we already covered that in last month’s guide (read it here).

But what about actual tickers to buy?

It’s ironic really; the prediction market meta is heating up, but the biggest prediction market platforms don’t even have tokens yet. That includes Polymarket, Kalshi, Myriad, and the soon-to-launch Limitless.

So yeah… we can’t actually predict the prediction markets. But we can front-run the meta.

And lucky for us, there’s a bunch of beta plays building around the edges - tools, infrastructure, and second-order bets. So I invited trader and prediction market degen Kix on to the podcast to break down his excellent post covering this topic:

The biggest meta of Q4

Here’s the setup: bull markets love a Q4 blow-off top . And usually, that blow-up is centered around one dominant new meta.

In 2021, it was NFTs.
In 2024, it was AI agents.
In 2025, it might be… prediction markets.

Each year’s Q4 brings a narrative so “world-changing” that we all convince ourselves it’s the future. Or at least until the music stops.

In 2021, NFT-gated communities felt like the next internet. Brands rushed in. Post Malone bought a Bored Ape. It was madness. And it was “the future”.

In 2024, crypto x AI agents exploded - names like Virtuals, AIXBT, and Zerebro ripped out of nowhere. Every project suddenly had “autonomous agents”, and even the worst ones mooned. Again, the future had arrived.

Now, in Q4 2025, the same kind of mania is forming around prediction markets - and honestly, the “future” thesis tracks. Online betting is a massive industry, but it’s still trapped in centralized sportsbooks with heavy regulation. Prediction markets bring that onchain, with decentralized liquidity, unique instruments, and a clear product-market fit.

Kix’s view is simple: this meta is real, but it will be short. Yes, there will be long term winners, but he plans to ride it up, sell the hype, and rotate. That means:

Buy the right tokens early
Take profits when retail and whales ape in
Watch for new projects and tickers launching in real-time
Expect the big platform tokens (Polymarket, Kalshi) to vacuum up liquidity once they drop

If you’re looking for a comp, look at DraftKings - a $17B public betting company. A Polymarket token could easily justify a $20B FDV in this environment.

Alright, let’s get to the plays:

Kix’s top prediction market token picks

Here are the current best bets if you want exposure to the meta before the big platforms launch tokens:

1/ $PMX (formerly $PCULE)

Market Cap: $42M

This one is spicy. PMX is a marketplace of markets. It lets you pre-fund liquidity for upcoming markets - so instead of betting on outcomes, you can just farm the fees as people trade.

Example: there’s a market for “Will $BTC hit $150k?” - you seed the liquidity for either side, collect trading fees, and never have to pick a winner.

It’s a novel primitive for prediction markets, and it solves the core issue of thin liquidity. They’ve just rebranded and announced a partnership with Meteora:

2/ $FLIPR

Market Cap: $8.3M

Flipr is building the pro trading suite for prediction markets. Think: leverage without instant liquidation, aggregated order books from Polymarket and Kalshi, trading dashboards, and even execution via X. Basically, it wants to be the Hyperliquid + Jupiter of prediction markets.

This is the kind of infra play that usually goes under the radar until it suddenly doesn’t. Great thread breakdown here.

3/ $TRUE

Market Cap: $14M

Truemarkets popped up after the 2024 election and built their own oracle to manage market resolutions. It’s on Base (good for narrative support), and the roadmap promises everything from AI tools to dynamic liquidity.

Feels a bit early here still, but the token has real alignment with resolution security, and it’s been around since early 2025.

4/ Sports bets: $RAIN / $SX / $OVER

A bunch of sports-related projects are fighting for attention. Here’s a quick breakdown:

SX Network ($SX) & Overtime ($OVER): Traditional sportsbooks onchain, with solid volume and an ambition to move into broader prediction markets.
Rainmaker ($RAIN): More experimental - uses AI to place bets on your behalf. Part of the Believe app ecosystem, which gives it some memetic power.

There are also smaller tools like $POLYBRO and $PM, which act as prediction market trading companions or bots.

Wrapping up

I really like $PMX and $FLIPR - they feel like the most thoughtful products, with clear utility that addresses real pain points in prediction markets.

But nothing beats the real deal. If Polymarket, Kalshi, or Myriad drop a token, that’s where the real money will flow.

Until then, these picks are solid exposure - especially if you’re short on time but still want a piece of the action.
