Uniswap’s NFT Aggregator Finally Goes Live
Uniswap has finally released its NFT platform to the public, enabling users to find the best prices for their favorite NFTs across multiple marketplaces. The launch is accompanied by a USDC airdrop to historical users of Genie, the NFT aggregator it acquired in June of this year.
The first 22,000 NFT buyers on the platform will also receive gas rebates, for a maximum of 0.01 ETH per transaction.
About the platform
Uniswap’s new NFT platform is an NFT marketplace aggregator, rolling together nine different popular NFT marketplaces: OpenSea, X2Y2, LooksRare, Sudoswap, Larva Labs, X2Y2, Foundation, NFT20, and NFTX.
The platform is designed to make it easy for users to browse NFTs across all of the above markets via one simple, easy-to-use interface provided by Uniswap – which is already the most popular decentralized exchange on the market for ERC-20 tokens.
Uniswap NFT promises up to 15% savings on gas costs compared to other NFT aggregators and is built on trustless and open-source infrastructure.
Users are able to add multiple NFTs to their shopping “bag” and pay for them all in a single transaction, saving on both manual effort and gas fees.
Last, but not least, there’s a handy “Sweep” function that enables a user to instantly buy any amount of the cheapest available NFT assets within a collection – known as “sweeping the floor”.
First impressions of the platform are that it is slick, responsive, and very easy to navigate.
Genie USDC airdrop
Uniswap is distributing around $5 million in USD Coin (USDC) to two types of historical Genie users.
Wallets that used the Genie platform more than once will receive 300 USDC, while wallets that held a Genie: Genesis NFT at the time of the snapshot will have their airdrop boosted to 1,000 USDC instead.
